Kho Muong
Kho Muong is a pristine valley in the buffer zone of Pu Luong Nature Reserve. From above, Kho Muong appears with the simple beauty of the stilt houses located close to the foot of the mountain. Most houses are roofed with straw roofs, palm roofs with cow stables below and people live above as a tradition from thousands of generations. In front of the stilt houses are gentle terraced fields. Surrounding the valley are pristine primeval forests that seem to be hugging and protecting the villages.

Coming to Kho Muong village, in addition to the landscape and majestic terrain, visitors can also explore the cave with magical stalactites. From Kho Muong village, you can follow the route of 4 Muong villages, Ban Ban - Thanh Cong - Cao Hoong - Ban Kem to explore cultural features, or follow the trail from Kho Muong to Ban Uoi - Pho Doan to get to the Quan village where there are folds of peaceful and simple houses.

Ban Hieu
Ban Hieu belongs to Co Lung commune, Ba Thuoc district, in the core zone of Pu Luong nature reserve. In Pu Luong during the harvest season, the 25 km long road from Canh Nang town to Hieu village is very beautiful because the two sides are terraced fields on either side of the stream.
In addition to the beautiful natural scenery, this place is also famous for the Hieu stream that can turn trees into rocks. Due to a large amount of limestone, Hieu stream water calcifies the root system of the trees lying under the stream. The end of June or October is when the terraced fields here start to ripen, which is also the time when the most beautiful Hieu and Pu Luong villages of the year.
Pu Luong Retreat

How to get to Pu Luong Nature Reserve
From Hanoi, you can take a motorbike or car to Lac village, Mai Chau then continue towards Co Luong, turn to the 15C road along the Ma River to Pu Luong Nature Reserve.
After starting from Thanh Hoa city, going northwest, following the Ho Chi Minh trail, turning right in Cam Thuy town, you will meet 15C street in Canh Nang town, then go on about 10 km to reach the destination.
