Cao Bang not only attracts tourists by the famous Ban Gioc waterfall, majestic mountain scenery, charming roads but also thanks to historical sites such as Pac Po cave or Lenin stream.
1. Ban Gioc Waterfall
Ban Gioc is the most majestic and beautiful waterfall of Vietnam, located in Dam Thuy commune, Trung Khanh district, Cao Bang. Right from afar, tourists can hear the rushing waterfall. From a height of over 30 m, large bodies of water flow through many limestone steps. In the middle of the waterfall is a large rock tissue covered with trees that split the water into three streams like three white silk strips.
Day and night, the waterfall rolls down on flat rocks, sending out countless white dust particles that cover a large area. On sunny days, the steam also creates a shimmering rainbow. At the foot of Ban Gioc waterfall is a wide, mirror-like river surface. The two banks are grass and evergreen forest flap.

2. Buddhist Temple of Tich Truc Lam Ban Gioc
Truc Lam Ban Gioc Buddhist temple was built spaciously on Phia Nham mountain, Dam Thuy commune (Trung Khanh), about 500m from Ban Gioc waterfall. The pagoda was built in the traditional Vietnamese architecture, including Tam Quan Gate, bell tower, drum floor, stone steles and three jewels, To church, Mau church, the temple of national heroes, Nam Viet Trieu To Hung Vuong of all generations, guest houses with full facilities. Truc Lam Ban Gioc Buddhist temple is important in the development of Ban Gioc waterfall tourist resort into a national tourist area.
3. Nguom Ngao Cave
Nguom Ngam Cave is a large cave formed from the long weathering of limestone. Nguom Ngao (Tay language means the Tiger cave or also called "cave in the middle of the rock valley") was discovered by local people in 1921. Nguom Ngao cave has a length of 2,144m, including 3 main gates: Nguom Lom gate which is cool year-round lying hidden under the rocks at the foot of the mountain; Nguom Ngao gate is a few hundred steps from the foot of the mountain and Ban Thuon gate is behind the mountain, adjacent to the Thuon village of the Tày people.
The dynamic dome closes and opens again, giving viewers a surprising experience. Stalactites grow from the bottom up, drop down from the top, vertical stalactites, large stalactites, small stalactites, etc all intertwined to form a magical maze.
4. Ho Thang Hen
Located in Quoc Toan commune, Tra Linh district, Cao Bang province at thousands of meters above sea level, Thang Hen Lake is a beautiful lake among 36 lakes located in the mountains of our country. It is located in the middle of a mountainous and green area of trees rising above the craggy cliffs reflecting on the clear water, winding along the staggering stream of underground mines. Ho Thang Hen has a diamond shape, about 300m wide, more than 1,000m long, in the middle of the white, black canari forest protruding from the cat ear stones. Upstream is a large cave, from inside the cave where the water flows out day and night.
Especially, daily water of Thang Hen Lake has two "tides" up and down. During the flood season, while other lakes are red, Thang Hen Lake water is always green. In the dry season, the lake is about 10 meters deep. Near Thang Hen Lake, there is also Thang Luong Lake, in the middle of the lake is a spectacular mountain.
5. Pac Po relic area
Pac Bo relic is a special revolution-related national historical relic of Vietnam, belonging to Pac Bo village, Truong Ha commune, Ha Quang district, Cao Bang province, 55 km north of Cao Bang city. The relics include Uncle Ho memorial house, Coc Po cave (the local name means "upstream"), Lung Lan cave, Nguom Vai cave, Le nin stream, the stone table where Uncle Ho works, the floor. Mr. Ly Quoc Gun, Mr. La Thanh's floor, etc.
