Reaching Out – 131 Tran Phu
On top of this list of the most beautiful, unique and romantic cafes in Hoi An is Reaching Out. This cafe is designed in pure Vietnamese architectural style, from households such as chairs and tables, benches, shelves, teapots to decorations like bowls and plates or vases, all are very historic, elegant and plain.
Right when you step into this cafe, you will be surrounded by a peaceful and historic atmosphere full of greasy smell from all kinds of tea. You can sit inside to feel the cozy, tidy and historic atmosphere of the cafe or wander in the garden with the old walls and small trails full of vines.
Cocobox – 94 Le Loi
Cocobox is designed like a combination of a cafe, a smoothie bar and a shop selling agricultural products, which is popular in Europe. Consequently, when visiting Cocobox, you can try an European style breakfast with a strange mixture of smoothie and bought some high-quality products chosen by our shop such as coffee, honey, tea, spices, coconut oil, etc.
Moreover, every day, this shop has many kinds of smoothies made from fresh fruits and vegetables with really unique names like Relax Thu Bon, Good Morning HoiAn, An Bang Colada, etc. They are not only distinct due to the names but the ingredients are also unique.
LE Fe Cafétéria – 69/3 Phan Chau Trinh
Hidden in a small alley in Phan Chu Trinh road is LE Fê Cafétéria. As a result, many people often miss this attractive spot.
The first feature of LE Fê Cafétéria is the small wooden sign which is quite faded. Entering this place, you will definitely meet a peaceful and airy atmosphere. This cafe has three main rooms. The outer and the last rooms are open areas with many plants and they can take advantage of the natural light. The middle room has a collection of decorations in an old vintage style such as books, old television, old-style telephone, etc.
Hai cafe – 111 Tran Phu
Almost anyone who visit Hoi An must find their way to Hai Cafe at least once. This is a famous nicely decorated cafe at a reasonable price, which is a perfect place for you to try the quietness and peacefulness of Hoi An.
Being another cafe with an old vintage design, Hai Cafe has two areas facing the main road. One is a big yard with high chairs and tables, colorful pillows and tree shadows. The other is smaller but it is really cool.
Cargo – 107 Nguyen Thai Hoc
Although this is only a newly opened cafe, Cargo Club is very popular in Hoi An, especially for foreign tourists. Cargo has an airy atmosphere but it still conveys the peaceful and historic Hoi An. This cafe has a light color palette and is decorated in a plain and simplified style, which brings customers a relaxing and chill feeling.
The Chef – 166 Tran Phu
This is quite a novel place for anyone who is familiar with Hoi An which often has one-story houses with red brick rooftop. Despite being a restaurant, Chef has a list of diverse drinks. You can choose this place to sip some coffee in the morning.
The second-floor, where coffee is served, is attractively decorated with dark wooden walls, tables and chairs that allow customers to be engrossed in books while sipping some coffee. If you want to read some books in the peacefulness of the ancient quarter, this is your perfect place. If you want to view the sight of people passing the streets, the best place for you is on the balcony or the top floor of the cafe. It is undoubted that Chef is the best place to view a peaceful and historic Hoi An from above.
May Concept – 8C Nguyen Thi Minh Khai
May Concept is situated at 8C Nguyen Thi Minh Khai road near Cau pagoda. This is a really unique place as it is both a cafe and a clothes shop. For that reason, you can buy some souvenirs while sipping some coffee here.
All rooms in May Concept uses dark wooden furniture to create a historic and cozy feeling. If you love nature, you can also visit its small airy garden to try some nice tea or coffee. However, the most important thing that makes this place become attractive is the friendly and enthusiastic staff here. Customers are always welcomed with smiles and caring greetings.
Every Friday, this cafe organizes a small musical show for customers. You will be able to enjoy some sentimental music through the plain acoustic guitar.
Gemsone Art Museum – 130 Nguyen Thai Hoc
Situated at number 130 Nguyen Thai Hoc is the museum and cafe called Gemstone Art Museum. This place appeals tourists with a collection of hundreds of kinds of gemstones from everywhere. This collection is by the beautiful woman called Duong Nga in more than 20 years collecting and selecting.
You can sip your coffee at a special area and enjoy the beauty. If you are lucky enough to meet the manager, you can share with her about those rare gemstones.
Mango Rooms – 111 Nguyen Thai Hoc
Everything in this cafe is one of the cutest and most beautiful in Hoi An; all are very colorful in a light and lovely palette: from walls, pillows, bar to chairs, tables, fans, bowls and plates. To customers, Mango Rooms is like a painting that has not been finished yet but also very colorful and lovely.
There are two main areas designed and decorated in 2 different styles. The one which views out to Hoi An ancient quarter looks really pure Vietnamese but this is also as unique as the colorful area at Bach Dang road near Hoai river. If you have some time to visit this cafe, be sure to have a seat near the river to fully experience the beauty of Mango Rooms.
