The magnificent Sun World Fansipan Legend
Sun World Fansipan Legend, which is situated at the Southwest of Sapa town, is a cultural area for tourism with cable car service, entertainment service and high quality resort in the gorgeous scenery of mount Fansipan. This is a project done with the help of the modern technologies of 2 famous car cable company in the world, Doppelmayr and Garaventa, designed and constructed based on strict rules and inspections by Sun Group to ensure safety on every aspect. After put into operation, Sun World Fansipan Legend is recorded by Guinness as being the longest, highest and most modern 3-rope car cable system in the world, constructed in Asia for the first time.

Sun World Fansipan spiritual cultural area
Sun World Fansipan spiritual cultural area, which includes groups of works, ranges from the height of 2,900 m to more than 3,000m. These groups of works include spiritual spots built in the style of ancient Vietnamese temples such as Bao An Thien Tu, Bich Van Thien Tu, Kim Son Bao Thang Tu. There are also other spiritual spots such as Dai Phat A Di Da Statue, Quan The Am Bo Tat, Vong Linh Cao Dai, the sacred Bao tower and La Han road round the mountain side.
Bao Van Thien Tu: Right from the Fansipan car cable station, Bao An Thien Tu welcome tourists with its familiarity of traditional spiritual architect which is inherited from the ancient wooden architectural relics like Boi Khe Pagoda, Thay Pagoda, etc.
Bich Van Thien Tu: From Vong Linh Cao Dai, tourist travel through the Heaven Gate to enter Bich Van Thien Tu at the height of 3,025 m. This is the first attraction at the station which is designed with three-step staircase, a yard, three-door temple gate, To and Mau temples, etc.
Steeple Dai Hong Chung: Steeple Dai Hong Chung is hidden behind the clouds with eight-roof bell tower. To construct this, blue rocks and restored tiles were somehow carried onto the height of 3,000m above the sea level and then subtly built according to the nature.
Kim Son Bao Thang Tu: At the highest point of the spiritual area, Kim Son Bo Thang Tu is built with two lobbies from the front house to the back house and Tien Duong, Tam Bao, Nha To, side lobbies, rock statue, three-door temple gate.
Dai Phat A Di Da Statue: From Bich Van Thien Tu, tourists can travel up the mountain by train directly to Kim Son Bao Thang Tu near the highest point or walk up 100 rock stair steps to enter Dai Phat A Di Da Statue. The statue is 12.5 m tall, built from more than 50 tons of copper with modern technology. Steel was used as a frame to avoid the statue being distorted in bad weather conditions. Copper slabs are processed with mechanical pressure and decorated with the art from Tran dynasty.
Food service in Fansipan Legend
Do Quyen, Hai Cang restaurant: In Fansipan Legend tourism complex, you can experience and enjoy food at Do Quyen restaurant in Fansipan station or at Hai Cang restaurant in Sapa station. The chain of restaurants and coffee shops here serves Western to Eastern food and Sapa traditional food, namely badges pig, sturgeon hotpot, salmon hotpot, grilled stream fish, etc… and other dishes at a reasonable price.
Van Son Tra restaurant: In the 600-step stair to Fansipan peak, near Ha pagoda, you will come across Van Son Tra restaurant. The design of this restaurant will remind you of Tru Vu Tra restaurant in Ba Na Hills. Sharing the same tea house concept, the restaurants have many tea tables that require the visitors to sit on a special bamboo mat. With the clouds floating around, you can enjoy a cup of hot tea while looking at blooming Azalea flowers and feeling the stillness of the atmosphere.
Mountain-climbing train system and Sun World Fansipan Legend cable car
Departed in Sapa station, which has Colonial architecture in the XIX century with thick walls, tall arched windows, elegant decoration like in a castle; Sun World Fansipan Legend cable car will transport tourists at the height of 1410m to conquer Fansipan peak. Meanwhile, Fansipan arrival station has a modern design with light and neat structure, just like a tree branch. Looking from above, the station looks like a giant leaf covering a bird nest in the ravine. In the cable car, travelers can observe the beauty of North West mountains, Ham Rong peak in the fog, white clouds floating by the green mountains…
How to get to Sun World Fansipan Legend cable car?
Sun World Fansipan Legend cable car station is located inside Fansipan Legend tourism complex, 3km from Sapa’s city center. You can catch a taxi or walk there. Taxi costs between 50,000VND and 100,000VND for a 10-minute ride. It takes 30 minutes talking: walk from Stone Cathedral to Silver Fall Road for about 1km, turn left into Nguyen Chi Thanh street then go straight 1.7km to Fansipan Legend complex.
Muong Hoa mountain-climbing train
A better choice is Muong Hoa mountain-climbing train from Sapa city center to Sapa station. Starting at Hotel de la Coupole by MGallery- the first 5-star hotel in Sapa and finishing at Sapa station, the train goes through 2 tunnels and 4 road bridges with the maximum speed of 10m/s and maximum capacity of 2,000 tourists per hour.
Do Quyen mountain-climbing train
From Fansipan station to Fansipan peak, you will have to climb 600 steps. For healthy people and in beautiful weather, this is definitely not a problem. But for the old or on a gloomy day, this is a suggested method of transportation to go straight to Fansipan peak. The advantage of this train is you can choose to by one way ticket or all round ticket.
